Skills for Life

We aim to give young people ranging from age 6-14 years the opportunity to build Skills for Life through the varied section programmes we offer (Beavers, Cubs and Scouts). Scouts are do-ers and give-it-a-go-ers.

Welcome to 25th Beechgrove

Situated in the Midstocket area of Aberdeen in the North East of Scotland, the group was established in 1919 and continues to have a strong presence within the district of Aberdeen.

We are an exciting and constantly growing group with over 50 young people and volunteers enjoying the opportunity to get involved in the adventure that scouting brings.

Yes, we go camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling and canoeing. But we also get to hang out with our friends every week – having fun, playing games, working in a team and taking on new challenges. Everyone’s welcome here. All genders, races and backgrounds. Regardless of your child’s physical ability – there’s a Scout adventure out there waiting for them. And we’ll help them find it.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
