About Us

Welcome to 25th Beechgrove Scout Group, situated in the Midstocket area of Aberdeen in the North East of Scotland. The group was established in 1919 and continues to have a strong presence within the district of Aberdeen. We are an exciting and constantly growing group with over 50 young people and volunteers enjoying the opportunity to get involved in the adventure that scouting brings.

We aim to give young people ranging from age 6-14 years the opportunity to build Skills for Life through the varied section programmes we offer (Beavers, Cubs and Scouts). Scouts are do-ers and give-it-a-go-ers. Yes, we go camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling and canoeing. But we also get to hang out with our friends every week – having fun, playing games, working in a team and taking on new challenges. Everyone’s welcome here. All genders, races and backgrounds. Regardless of your child’s physical ability – there’s a Scout adventure out there waiting for them. And we’ll help them find it.

Offering our young people such worthwhile scouting experiences is only made possible by the volunteering contribution of the many adults involved in Scouting. We have an extremely committed, amazing team at the 25th Beechgrove Scouts who devote their time to enable our young people to gain valuable Skills for Life. However, the group will not survive without adult volunteers coming forward, if you can give any amount of time or skill set there is always a role for you.
